PUBLICATION
- Publication Ethics Statement
ICMECT2025 follows the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all
possible procedures against any publication misconduct. This Conference
is committed to maintaining high standards through a rigorous
peer-review together with strict ethical policies. Any infringements of
professional ethical codes, such as plagiarism, fraudulent use of data,
bogus claims of authorship, should be taken very seriously by the
editors with zero tolerance.
The
submitted manuscript should not have been previously published in any
form and must not be currently under consideration for publication
elsewhere.
Step
1. To keep scientific integrity, AICSIP will run Turnitin on each new
submission to see if has a problem with possible plagiarism. Papers not
passing the plagiarism check will be rejected immediately.
Step
2. Then the publication chairs will have an initial check on the new
submission to ensure it's within the scope of the conference and decide
if it merits further review. If the new manuscript passed the initial
check, it would be assigned to reviewers for double-blind peer review.
Step
3. Each selected paper will be reviewed by at least two/three
independent experts with related research backgrounds mainly on
originality, validity, quality, and readability.
Step
4. Review reports received from the experts will be judged by one of
the TPC members with international scientific standards.
Step
5. If logical, then Review Reports will be sent to authors to modify
the manuscript accordingly. If not logical, the TPC member can assign a
new reviewer or judge on his/her own.
Step 6. Authors will be required to revise their papers according to the points raised.
Step
7. The revised manuscript will then be evaluated by the TPC to
determine whether the points raised by the reviewers have been addressed
or not.
Step 8. Then the TPC will send the revised manuscript to the reviewers again for re-evaluation.
Step
9. If the reviewers approve the revised version of the manuscript, then
the TPC chair will make a final decision on acceptance for publication.
There are four possible decisions for a submitted full-paper
(1) Accepted with Official Acceptance Letter as a mail attachment to proceed with the registration.
(2)
Minor/Major Revision. The papers should be revised according to
reviewer comments to obtain the Official Acceptance Letter. Usually, one
round of major revisions is allowed.
(3) Rejected. This means the paper will not be considered for the next process even if it is revised.
NOTE: Author should register to the conference only after obtaining the Official Acceptance Letter from the conference.
